Un Monstre à Paris /  A Monster In Paris

The animated film is set in 1910, France, during the flooding of the Seine river. A monster accidentally created by leading characters Emile, a projectionist, and Raoul, an inventor, roams the streets of a panicked Paris. Lucille, a cabaret singer, discovers the "monster", dubbed Francouer, who is revealed to be a gentle, mutated flea. The leading characters must then protect Francouer from being killed by commissioner Maynott, the antagonist, who is using widespread fear of the monster to gain a political foothold.

Rules

First and foremost, we'd like to remind everyone that this movie is, in fact, a family movie. As such, we'd prefer if you did not try to submit anything very vulgar or sexual. Keep it tasteful. Additionally, any art that we do not find suitable for one reason or another will be rejected. You are always free to appeal to the mods about a submission issue, but we are going to try to keep this group free of drama.

Please no W.I.P's (works in progress).

No lined paper, bases, unclear/blurry pictures, or artwork that actually has nothing to do with UMAP.

We are also aware that many people have seen UMAP/ AMIP already at Film Festivals, but we'd prefer if there were no spoilers in art or in journals, even if they are marked clearly. But no worries, when the movie has come out in English, we will allow for everything that might be a spoiler to be submitted!

Please try to submit your artwork to the appropriate category! If we decline it, it's probably because you submitted a picture to Fanfiction, or a picture of Raoul to Lucille.

If you don't own the artwork in question, please don't submit it.
